Bio

Rachel Priore enters her third season with Chattanooga State Community College and brings a strong background in leadership, player development, and competitive success to the program. With more than 10 years of coaching experience, Priore has made an impact at the collegiate, high school, and club levels through her passion for developing athletes both on and off the court.

A former collegiate outside hitter at California University of Pennsylvania, Priore earned numerous accolades throughout her playing career, including All-PSAC Conference honors, All-Region honors, PSAC Scholar-Athlete recognition, D2ADA Academic Achievement Awards, and Cal U AD Honor Roll honors. She also served as Team Captain while earning both her Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Master’s degree in Business Analytics.

Following a career-ending knee injury during her senior season, Priore transitioned into a leadership role from the sidelines, helping mentor and support her teammates throughout the remainder of the season. That experience ignited her passion for coaching and laid the foundation for her career in athlete development and mentorship.

Since relocating to Chattanooga, Priore has coached with Christian Heritage School and Anthem United Volleyball Club, where she has helped athletes grow their skills, confidence, and love for the game. Originally from Chicago, Priore continues to bring energy and competitiveness to every program she serves.
